THIS AUCTION IS FOR AN 8 PIECE LOT OF THE 1957 AC BETSY MCCALL 8" DOLL KNOWN AS 'TOWN AND COUNTRY'.  THIS SET WAS MADE EVERY YEAR, AND SO THERE ARE PLAINER VERSIONS OF THE COAT~ ESPECIALLY ONES THAT LACK THE WHITE COVERED SNAP THAT THIS FEATURED COAT HAS.  THE AUCTION INCLUDES
BOTH VERSIONS
OF THE CHECKED DRESS, ONE LARGE CHECK, AND ONE SMALL.  THE SMALLER CHECK IS HARDER TO FIND AND WAS ALSO KNOWN AS 'PARISIAN', MADE ONLY IN 1957 I BELIEVE.
ALSO INCLUDED IS BETSY'S BLACK FELT TAM, WITH GREAT ELASTIC.  I AM ALSO INCLUDING A PAIR OF WHITE ORIGINAL SHOES AND RAYON SOCKS, ORIGINAL TO BETSY WITH WORKING KNOBS AND STRAPS.

This is for a vintage vinyl American Character Betsy McCall Doll. She is vinyl with a swivel waist. I’m assuming this is her body, but head does have a neck split and I’m not sure what her body looks like, so judge her for yourself. She has thin plugs and is missing several plugs. Forehead has a couple of “poke” places. She has other normal scuffs, marks for a played with doll. She is not perfect and is sold as is, in TLC condition, for parts or repairs only. Please view pictures to help with the description, as she is sold as is.
