Vintage Royal Chintz Arnart 5th Ave #2179 Pitcher & Saucer Pink Roses & Flowers
Approx. Measurements: Pitcher 5 1/2"H x 3 1/4"W at widest point
Approx. Measurements: Saucer is scalloped and is 4 5/8" in diameter
Gold gilding work on the trim
This is a miniature pitcher and saucer done in a Victorian style
This is from 1957 to early 60's
It's in good vintage condition, no chips or cracks
This is part of my late sister's collection
These are two gorgeous, vintage "Alexandra" Garden Party chintz square salad plates by Two's Company. They feature a wavy edge with gold trim and a lovely floral pattern of pink and blue flowers on a white background. The background includes a light gray fake crazing pattern. The back has manufacturer's holes for hanging on the wall.
In my research, I have found this pattern listed as vintage 1980s but the manufacturer's mark includes a website, so I estimate that they are late 1990s.
The plates
appear to have never been used. They
are in excellent condition except for one 1/4" scratch on one plate (see close-up photo, just above center). There is one spot where the glaze has tiny bumps/roughness, a manufacturer's flaw. There are no other scratches, crazing or chips. There is minor shelf wear.
Please read the
RED
paragraph below about packaging/shipping.
Please see the photo(s)
to judge the condition for yourself, as they are part of the description to
which you commit as a buyer.

Packaging and Shipping
g
I live in a non-smoking,
cat friendly household. My items are stored in a room where my cats are not
permitted.
I have cleaned this item
of any surface dust and will wipe it down one last time before packaging.
However, I will not guarantee that stray cat hair does not find its way into
the packaging.
Do note that eBay resellers are reporting a significant increase
in package/item damage during shipment. I ship my items in boxes that a little
oversized to allow for more bubble wrap. This increases the postage a bit but
it increases the likelihood that your item(s) will arrive safely.
I will usually mail item(s)
within three business days after the purchase date (I check messages in the
evening so don't count the first day). If you are in a rush to receive your
order, please let me know immediately upon purchase and I will tell you what is
possible, as I do work full-time.
h
Photos
g
The color
of the actual item(s) could be slightly darker or
lighter than pictured due to camera and lighting conditions when taking photos.
I try to enhance the photos to be as true-to-life as possible or to bring out
certain details I feel are important to buyers.
Do note that while my
original photo files are high-resolution, some focus and clarity is lost in
uploading to eBay. Some faint/fine imperfections may not be visible.
While I
try to include all four sides and top/bottom of items, I will sacrifice
one/some of these images to include photos of obvious condition issues (like a
significant chip) within the 12 photos allowed by eBay.
Any easels, backgrounds
or other items used to display the item
(s)
for
photographs are not included in the sale of the item
(s)
.
h
Buyer/Seller Responsibilities
g
No warranties or
guarantees are implied for the item(s).
Buyer is responsible to
pay for the item(s) purchased. Buying the item(s) is a legal contract
between buyer and seller. Buyers who don't pay could face legal charges in
small claims court. If buyer doesn't pay within seven days, an
unpaid
item case
will be opened with eBay.
h
Damaged On Arrival?
g
If the item(s) arrive in
a package that appears damaged ?
1.
Take photos of the package damage from
various angles BEFORE YOU OPEN IT. These photos are
required
to
authenticate the damage for your refund and/or insurance claim. Phone photos
are OK but please use good lighting.
2.
Once you open the box, take a photo to show the
contents BEFORE you remove the contents and start to unwrap the bubble wrap. Again,
this is to authenticate the damage for your refund and/or insurance claim.
3.
Once you have unwrapped the bubble wrap, if the
item(s) are indeed damaged, photograph the damaged item(s).
4.
If the item(s) were damaged, send all the photos
to me/the seller and I will contact you.
5.
If you couldn't tell the item(s) were damaged
until unwrapping them, stop as soon as you see damage and take photos. Do photo
the box, anyway, and send me all the photos. I will still discuss refunds but
this just means the insurance claim will be problematic.
h
Refunds and Returns
g
Seller will agree to
refunds for everything except buyer remorse, failure of buyer to ask questions
before purchase, or failure of buyer to read the complete item
description.
If there was damage
during shipment, the seller will work with the buyer to see if a partial refund
will suffice (like if the buyer wants to still keep the item, or for example, if
one of six glasses were broken and the buyer only wants a refund for the broken
one). If an agreement on a partial refund cannot be reached, the seller
reserves the right to require the buyer to return the item(s) in the condition
in which they arrived for a full refund to be made upon return to the seller. A
full refund will not be issued until the item(s) are returned to the
seller.
Seller will only refund
the cost of the item(s) once returned to the seller in same condition as sold
the buyer or shown in the buyer?s photos indicating damage.
Seller will not refund
initial shipping costs to the buyer.
Buyer must pay the
shipping costs to return the item(s). Buyer is responsible for packaging the
item(s) appropriately for return shipment, which includes providing an
undamaged box.
Seller will charge a 10%
restocking fee for the item. The restocking fee will be taken from the initial
amount paid for the item and out of the refund.
