IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, VINTAGE 1930's 40's CAKE PLATE & SERVER WITH CHINTZ DESIGN MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA. THE PLATE HAS A DECO INSPIRED CIRCULAR PATTERN ON THE OUTER BAND WITH A CHINTZ CENTER SIMILAR TO ROYAL WINTON'S "SUMMERTIME" CHINTZ PATTERN. IT'S INCISED ON THE BACK "MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA. THE MATCHING SERVER HAS THE SAME CIRCULAR DESIGN ON THE HANDLE AND IS STAMPED IN GOLD ON THE BACK. THE PLATE MEASURES 11" IN DIAMETER AND THE SERVER IS 9-3/4" LONG. Up for consideration is a set of black floral chintz salt & pepper shakers. The shakers are unmarked & appear to be new. The shakers have a black background with gold trim & multicolored flowers. The shakers have clear stoppers. The shakers measure 2 1/2" tall & 1 1/2" wide at the base. Both are in very good condition--no chips, cracks, repairs or discoloration.
